Safe meetings secure new business at Elmia Subcontractor 2021
Elmia Subcontractor loves safe meetings. And we love it when our exhibitors and visitors secure new business on the show floor. Between 9-12 November 2021, we'll be back physically, digitally - and safely. Here we go.
We promise the same feeling in the halls and the same focus on business as usual – albeit a little differently. In line with the gradual opening up of society, the fair will be adapted accordingly, offering meetings that are safe and COVID-friendly.
- We have gauged the feeling of the visitors and their interest in coming to Elmia Subcontractor is high, so it is important that we open carefully and safely. We are well prepared and have taken all the necessary measures to ensure that we can organise a safe exhibition. These include wide and airy aisles, separate entrances and exits, and security guards around the arena," says Johanna Bjurevik, Exhibition Manager for Elmia Subcontractor.
Ever since the pandemic started, Elmia, together with other trade fair organisers in Sweden, has been working towards safe meetings under the slogan "See you safely" and, as part of this, is now covid-19 certified. When Elmia Subcontractor opens in November, it will be a new start for physical meetings and new business opportunities – and this is clear for the industrial group Weland.
- We want to be accessible to our customers, to colleagues in the industry and to other visitors. It is important to show that we can - slowly and safely - return to something resembling normal. It feels great to be back at Elmia Subcontractor," says Mattias Andersson, Marketing Manager at Weland.
This year, Elmia Subcontractor will offer all the benefits of digital meetings combined with the strengths of the physical fair. The Subcontractor Connect matchmaking event will be organised both on-site and digitally, creating opportunities for more international and national connections. And naturally, this year we will also be presenting an array of smart technical solutions at the new Tech Arena as well as world-unique products, innovative materials and designs at the inspirational InnoDex arena.
Four themes will run throughout Elmia Subcontractor 2021: Sustainability, Smart Industry, Competence and Collaboration. These themes are given extra prominence in the digital programme, which is streamed exclusively for Elmia Subcontractor visitors around the arena.
The programme will also include visits to the stands of a number of exhibitors.
- This year, it is the exhibitors who are in the spotlight. After some time without being able to meet their customers, we hope that there will be some great reunions at Elmia Subcontractor. The exhibitors are the heart and soul of the fair, without them the fair would never have become what it is today - we think that's worth highlighting," says Johanna Bjurevik.
